Talmadge Middle School opened in 1967 as a Junior High School for 7th - 9th graders.  In 2008, work was done to add 12 classrooms.  The additional classroom space provides for the 6th grade cohort and for future growth.

Talmadge Middle School offers a full curriculum of classes with many electives for students to choose - Science, Social Studies, Math, Language Arts, Choir, Band, Art, Yearbook, Health, PE, Lego Robotics, French, Service Learning and Leadership classes.  Talmadge offers the Cougar Zone after school for those students wanting help completing homework, tutoring and other enrichment activities.  Clubs and Athletics are also available for student participation.

Families are always welcome at Talmadge, and are specifically invited to many events throughout the year including open house, conferences, ELL parent night, concerts, book fairs and other activities.

Talmadge Mission: To facilitate the development of skills and character that empower students to be successful in school, college, career and community.
